Golfers MUST be 7 years of age or older to play. Golfers 7-13 years may play, but MUST be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older and have their own clubs. Children under 7 years of age are not permitted on the course.

The basketball courts are open all year round. 

The playground is open all year round.

Registration for fishing season in Alverthorpe Lake for the 2024 season begins January 3, 2024. Fishing tags will be sold at the control building in Alverthorpe Park only.

Cost: $4.00 - Resident/Season (**CASH ONLY**)

The 18-hole miniature golf course is open to Abington Township residents and their guests. The course is open on weekends from 10:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. beginning Memorial Day weekend. It opens daily from 10:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. beginning June 17, 2024, and ending September 2, 2024. Mini-golf will be open on weekends only from 10 AM to 7 PM in September. Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or over.

Times and Fees:

Located in the pre-school area of Alverthorpe Park, this facility is available to Abington Township residents 5 years of age or under at no charge.  The wading pool will open for daily use beginning Saturday, June 15, 2024 and will close Labor Day, September 2, 2024. The hours of operation are from 11 AM to 5 PM daily. 

Camping reservations can be made at the Control Building in Alverthorpe Park, Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Further information and rules governing camping are available at Alverthorpe Park or by calling 215-884-6538.
