Abington Township Parks and Recreation Department maintains over 20 public parks including a skate park, two swimming pools, a nature center with a museum and bird observatory, a bird reserve and more.

Facility rentals, such as pavilions, campsites, meeting rooms, fields, and basketball courts, are available at Alverthorpe Park, Ardsley Community Center and/or Crestmont Community Building.
