COVID-19 Symptoms

 COVID symptoms

According to the CDC, symptoms may appear 2 - 14 days after exposure to the virus and range from mild to severe illness that can result in death. To watch a video regarding COVID-19 symptoms, click here.

People with the below symptoms or a combination of symptoms may have COVID-19:

  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fever
  • Chills
  • Repeated shaking with chills
  • Muscle Pain
  • Headache
  • Sore Throat
  • New loss of taste or smell

Some individuals with COVID-19 may experience other symptoms not listed above.

 

EMERGENCY WARNING SIGNS

The CDC asks individuals seek medical attention immediately if you develop any of the following:

  • Trouble breathing
  • Persistent pain or pressure in the chest
  • New confusion or inability to arouse
  • Bluish lips or face
