The public is invited to lend a hand to plant trees, and to install fencing around trees to protect against deer browse. Volunteers can participate, as they are able, on Saturday, January 11, 2020, from 8 am to 12 pm, and Sunday, January 12, 2020, from 9 am to 12 pm. Members of the Shade Tree Commission and local environmental organizations will be on hand to guide and assist. All tools and supplies will be provided. Volunteers are encouraged to bring refillable water bottles and to wear sturdy shoes.
