Across Abington Township, trees provide tremendous benefits to individual residents and property owners, visitors, and wildlife. Unfortunately, Abington’s trees are under threat, which means that all of the ecological services they provide are also being reduced with each passing year. This costs Abington Township and its residents more money every year, as, for example, relative property values drop and flooding increases with every tree that is cut down and not replaced.
