Construction Updates 

UPDATE AS OF JUNE 2, 2021Edge Hill Road from Tyson Avenue to Bradfield Road is now ONE-WAY.

The following turns will be now prohibited:

  • Left turns onto Edge Hill Road from northbound Bradfield Road

  • Right turns onto Edge Hill Road from southbound Bradfield Road

 "Tyson Avenue will be closed and detoured between Ardsley Avenue and Bradfield Road in Abington Township, Montgomery County on Monday, July 15, through the end of August, for drainage work on a project to improve safety and travel on Tyson Avenue, Edge Hill Road, Jenkintown Road and several adjacent township roads, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

During the closure, Tyson Avenue motorists will be detoured over Edge Hill Road and Easton Road. Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone.In addition to the closure and detour, Tyson Avenue will be reduced to a single lane between Edge Hill Road and Ardsley Avenue.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur."
