The Township is easily accessible by Interstate 276, PA 611, PA 309, PA 232 and SEPTA service. With seven train stations operating on three regional rail lines and several bus routes, residents and employees can quickly travel to and from the City of Philadelphia and surrounding municipalities. Our immense accessibility has made the Township and ideal location for educational institutions, health-care systems, and employers, with over 4,500 businesses choosing to locate here.

Our nationally recognized School District, Police Department, Fire Department, health care facilities, and over 25 public parks have enabled the Township to be recognized by Money Magazine as a "Best Place to Live" in the United States. Our historic, art, recreational and business communities such as Keswick Village, Willow Grove Mall, Briar Bush Nature Center, and Abington Arts Center have made Abington a popular destination for people of all ages. While our community neighborhoods, such as Willow Grove, Roslyn, Crestmont, Glenside, Rydal, North Hills, and Meadowbrook, make Abington a small-knit community, we are proud to call home.
