The Abington Township Public Works Division will be collecting trash twice a week for two weeks beginning the week of June 8th and ending the week of June 15th. Residents will be able to fill their trash containers for collection on their normal trash day AND the following day for pick-up. All bags MUST be placed inside the trashcan ONLY. No additional bags on the curb will be picked up. Paper and commingle cans will ONLY be picked up on the regular trash day.

The breakdown below illustrates when the additional TRASH pick-up days will occur.

Regular trash day MONDAY

• Trash collected on Monday, June 8th and June 15th
• Fill trashcan up again and place out for collection on Tuesday, June 9th and 16th

Regular trash day TUESDAY

• Trash collected on Tuesday, June 9th and June 16th 
• Fill trashcan up again and place out for pick up on Wednesday, June 10^th and June 17^th

Regular trash day WEDNESDAY

• Trash collected on Wednesday, June 10th and June 17th 
• Fill trashcan up again and place out for pick up on Thursday, June 11^th and June 18^th

Regular trash day THURSDAY

• Trash collected on Thursday, June 11th and June 18th   
• Fill trashcan up again and place out for pick up on Friday, June 12^th and June 19^th

Regular trash day FRIDAY

• Trash collected on Friday, June 12th and June 19th  
• Fill trashcan up again and place out for pick up on Monday, June 15^th and June 22^nd.
