NOTICE OF CONTINUED CONDITIONAL USE HEARING
TOWNSHIP OF ABINGTON
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners of Abington Township, at a special public meeting held via remote means on Thursday, January 14, 2021, at 6:00 p.m., will hold a public hearing and take action on the following matter:
Applicant: Tookany/Tacony-Frankford Watershed Partnership, Inc., in partnership with Abington School District
Property: For property located at 2056 Susquehanna Road, Abington, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, known as Abington Junior High School and is identified as Montgomery County Tax Map Parcel No. 30-00-65228-00-1.
This is an application requesting Conditional Use approval pursuant to Section 1503(B)(2)(f) of the Abington Township Zoning Ordinance, to permit two rain gardens at the Abington Junior High School which are located approximately 28 feet from the centerline of the East Baeder Creek. A copy of the application is on file with the Code Enforcement Office of the Township of Abington and may be reviewed by appointment only between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. weekdays.
