NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Zoning Hearing Board of Abington Township (the “Board”) will meet on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at 7:00 p.m., in the Abington Township Municipal Building located at 1176 Old York Road, Abington PA, 19001, to conduct a public hearing on the application listed below, together with any other business coming before the Board, at which time interested citizens may attend and will be given the opportunity to be heard. A virtual option for observing the meeting and hearing will be available. Log-in information will be posted at least 5 days in advance at www.abingtonpa.gov. Any person seeking party status must attend in person.

23-24: JJLH ASSOCIATES LTD requests the following relief from the Abington Township Zoning Ordinance (the “Ordinance”) relative to real property identified as 900 Old York Road within the BC – Business Center Zoning District, Ward #7:
a. A Variance from Ordinance §2208.2.D.3 to allow a wall sign for the dealership name that exceeds by one square-foot the 30 square-foot limitation;
b. A Variance from Ordinance §2212.D to allow the total permitted wall signage to be divided between more than 2 signs on the same wall;
c. A Variance from Ordinance Figure 22.22 to allow a monument sign that has a height of 18 feet 10 inches, where the Ordinance limits height to a maximum of 10 feet;
d. A Variance from Ordinance Figure 22.22 to allow a monument sign to be located 10 feet from the property line, where the Ordinance requires a minimum distance of 20 feet.
e. A Variance from Ordinance §2211.G to allow a replacement wall sign 1.25 square feet larger than ¾ of the area of two signs being removed;
f. A Variance from Ordinance §2211.G to allow a replacement wall sign 26 square feet larger than ¾ of the area of two signs being removed;
g. A Variance from Ordinance §2211.G to allow a replacement wall sign 2.5 square feet larger than ¾ of the area of two signs being removed; and
h. A Variance from Ordinance §2103.A, Use A-13.1 to allow the construction of an eight-foot-high fence along the rear property line.
