The Abington Shade Tree Commission has purchased 300 native trees to give away for free to Abington Township residents to help strengthen our urban canopy. Pre-register starting March 11 to guarantee the tree(s) will be available for you, if you pick them up on time. Click here to register. 

Each household may take up to two trees, but if you take two trees, one must be a shade tree. Tree species available are: Red Maple, Allegheny Serviceberry, Flowering Dogwood, Heritage River Birch, American Hornbeam, Tulip Poplar, Black Tupelo, and Swamp White Oak

• TIME: 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM to pick up reserved trees; trees not picked up will be given away at 11:00 AM on a first-come first-serve basis
