The Township of Abington Board of Commissioners is seeking interested members of the public to serve on the Township's newly created Economic Development Corporation. Potential applicants must be of full age and a Township resident, property owner, and/or conduct business in the Township as prescribed by the Board of Commissioners. Members are expected to be available, at minimum, for quarterly meetings of the Corporation.
Information regarding the Corporation, including Ordinance No. 2208, creating the Economic Development Corporation, the Articles of Incorporation, and the Bylaws governing the Corporation are available for review at www.abingtonpa.gov/edc or for those who do not have access to the internet by calling Theresa Castorina, Assistant to the Township Manager, at 267-536-1003.
Applicants can apply online at www.abingtonpa.gov/EDCBoard. A letter of interest and resume must be uploaded with the online submission. Applicants can also submit a letter of interest, resume, and volunteer form to Theresa Castorina at tcastorina@abingtonpa.gov or by mail to 1176 Old York Road, Abington, PA, 19001 to the attention of Theresa Castorina. Volunteer forms can be picked up at the Township Administration Building located at 1176 Old York Road, Abington, PA, 19001 by calling 267-536-1003.
