Township Clean-out Weeks
During trash clean-out weeks, the Township will collect everything you place in your trash cans PLUS any additional normal trash placed in store bought refuse bags you put out with your regular trash on your SCHEDULED trash collection day.
NO electronics, hazardous waste, construction material or large items will be accepted.
Free Shredding Events
Residents of Abington Township are encouraged to bring personal and confidential documents and files to Abington Township’s FREE shredding event. No need to remove binder covers, paper clips or staples. All material will be recycled NO businesses. Abington Township residents ONLY.
During this event the Abington Township Environmental Advisory Council (EAC) will collect food items for the local food pantry. Residents who donate will earn Go Green Rewards Card credit.
"Anything with a Plug" Recycling Event
Abington Township is proud to offer their residents the opportunity to responsibly recycle obsolete Electronics. We partner with eForce Compliance for this event. This service is available to residents of Abington Township ONLY. PLEASE NOTE: There is a cost for TV's and monitors. Portable air conditioner units are no longer being accepted at this event. Please schedule a large item pick-up from your residence at www.abingtonpa.gov/largeitempickup.
The Abington Township Environmental Advisory Council (EAC) will be collecting food items on site for the local food pantry, Family Promise Montco PA (formerly Inter-Faith Food Cupboard).
Montgomery County's Retrievr program offers year-round pick-up for clothing and electronics at resident convenience. For more information about this program, please click here.
Habitat for Humanity in Warminster and Langhorne accept and recycle televisions, computer monitors, printers, and other miscellaneous electronics for free. By appointment only. For more information and to schedule a drop off, please click here.
